My neck of the woods

I live now in Twente, after living 11 years in Australia.
Twente is a region in the East of the Netherlands and borders neighboring Germany.
Cities and villages in combination with, forests, streams and farms are part of the landscape.
The landscape is a bit undulated in contrary to the rest of NL, which is flat.

That part of Overijssel, Drenthe and Groningen is so beautiful and my favorite part of the Netherlands. Part of my family is up the road in Sellingen (south of Bourtange). Enjoy!
