The terraced bank of the River Rhine
A very popular summer activity is to swim WITH the rather fast tidal flow, down river. People sometimes carry their clothes and personal articles with them in a water-proof bag. Threre is no way one can go swim against the flow. Summer 2018 has been a very hot one and the activity more popular than ever.
