I have a very good and useable flat bed scanner that I have to throw away and while I am at it I am also throwing into the electronic dumpster a small perfectly good printer and a nice wireless all in one printer. They all work or they should work if they had ink in them(the printers). The flat bed scanner I really like but it is old and the maker doesn't support the drivers for it. so now I have to get a new flat bed scanner. The flat bed scanner does everything that I want it to, like copying photos to the computer, etc.

The printers are just to expensive to use. I/we don't have as much stuff to print anymore. If I want a photo printed I go to COSTCO. Come on 18 cents for a 4 X 6 or about $2.00 for 8x 10's is hard to beat. The COSTCO quality is far better than an all in one, and I don't have to spend 50 or 60 dollars every couple of months for ink. For any documents that we want printed i put them on a zip drive and go to Fed Ex. so much cheaper.

I guess the Scot in me is coming through.
