Ηallstatt (German: [ˈhalʃtat]) is a small village in the district of Gmunden, in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. Situated on Hallstätter See, it is part of the Dachstein / Salzkammergut Cultural Landscape, one of the World Heritage Sites in Austria.
