Mister Pixel AKA Bruce Oudekerk

The 'Mister Pixel' moniker stems from sometime in the mid to late '80s when it was significantly less pompous... probably... maybe.

I’m a retired fine arts, photography and computer graphics teacher living in upstate New York.
I have the luxury of seeing myself as an opportunistic photographer. That means I typically go to a location or situation and capture whatever I find intriguing at that moment.
That is an assured method of sidestepping focused and substantive fine art but it affords the freedom to hopefully create a broad variety of esthetically pleasing photographs.
Ultimately I find the process of visualizing and crafting the various finished images challenging and very satisfying.

My folders; ‘Fauna’, ‘Naturescapes’, ‘Capturing the Moment’, ‘Incognito’ and ‘Manmade’ galleries typically contain my personal favored images.

'Snapshots' is just that; snaps of my outings and are primarily there to share casually with friends. You're welcome to visit:)
'Forum Examples' is an outlier. All things there are written and visual feedback related to some on-line discussions I'm involved in or observations I wish to share.
Images in 'Photoshop' provide examples of image manipulation. These usually involve original design work, compositing or restoration using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and/or Corel Draw.
