My Backyard, Sugar Land Texas

This very noisy Black Bellied Whistling Duck was on my neighbor's chimney early this morning.
The Proverbial "duck out of water" looks awkward enough up there. And he woke up most of the neighbors with his hour long serenade.
I thought it was pretty funny.

Nice catch! I sympathize with the neighbours, we’ve had a pair of seagulls nesting on the roof and the din has been horrendous at 4am every morning. Thank goodness they’ve now flown.
