NGC 6951

NGC 6951 is a barred spiral galaxy approximately 79 Mly distant in Cepheus. It lies in the plane of our galaxy and so is awash in a dense star field as well as IFN. Other than the portion on either side of the galaxy, the abundant IFN in this field was all but obliterated in the necessary gradient removal given my heavy light pollution.
