After the figures in the upper window were finished, those in the lower window moved around to tell the second story: Schäfflertanz (the coopers' dance). Myth has it that in 1517 there was a plague in Munich. The coopers supposedly danced through the streets to "bring fresh vitality to fearful dispositions."
The two shows lasted about 15 minutes.
