This is Nicky the pigeon, who bonded with Stevie, a Japanese Bantam chicken, when they both were in the infirmary at Popular Spring Animal Sanctuary. Nicky rarely leaves Stevie’s side (see them together in http://www.pbase.com/helenpb/image/167565876 ), although in this picture I think he was keeping an eye on his friend, who was being admired by the tour group below.
