Classic Chile

Smooth Coat Chihuahua

Our new girl "Chile" is now home.
She's busy adjusting to a completely new life 6000 miles away from where she was born.

My Canon 7D II body and my Canon 24-105mm lens are also back home after being out for repairs.

I finally did it with a camera. I exceeded the 7DII's shutter life and had to have the shutter replaced. Frankly, I was a bit surprised that the shutter died so fast. It's my youngest Canon DSLR & only made it to around 170,00 clicks. My other, older camera bodies have had more shutter releases, but they are still continuing to shoot without a problem. So far anyhow. Now, I'm a little concerned about them. Canon no longer supports my 1D III; which is now 10 years old.

Repaired camera body and repaired lens and new to the family(no repairs needed) dog
came together to create this casual portrait.

She's absolutely adorable! How many chihuahuas do you have? V
Bummer about the camera! It concerns me since I have recently purchased the same camera body... What happened to the lens?

Surprising to read about your Canon problems... I have had 2 Canons die on me over the years, now you have me worried! A lovely portrait of little Chile, she looks a dear! v
