Alex Ovechkin, captain of the Washington Caps, holding the real Stanley Cup (there were a lot of lookalikes) in the victory parade on Tuesday. I guess Tim must have used digital zoom as it’s pretty unsharp, but I liked this shot the best for the subject matter. The government let employees off for two hours to join the celebration, and Constitution Avenue is just a half block from the State Department, so he had a great opportunity (that I didn’t ;-)).
