Russian War Memorial in Skaryszewski Park is dedicated to the 26 Soviet soldiers who perished at the "George Washington" crossroad between 10 and 15 September 1944.

The inscription (in Russian and Polish) on both sides of the memorial reads:
"Eternal fame to the heroes of the Red Army who fell during the liberation of the Polish capital city Warsaw".
