It’s the mis-steps you don’t see that get you!
Kinda like the time I was walking down a small slope and slipped on the wet grass.
I caught myself, my foot stopped but the rest of me didn’t and broke my ankle in 3 places.
Nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a pin, a bolt, a few screws, a plate, and good doctors.
Then there was the stumble that is my wife's favorite…
She’s still laughing about it to this day…
We were at an event down at the waterfront and I stumbled off a curb in the parking lot.
Of course I tried to catch myself as I kept stumbling across the parking lot
not quite getting my legs under me, but not falling ether.
I was just a train looking for a wreck.
Well I found one…
I ran head first into a lady who was walking ahead of us.
Fortunately she wasn’t hurt and me crashing into her derrière with my head may have saved both of us!
She was surprised, her husband and my wife were laughing hysterically.
I was on the ground wondering where I went wrong!
Yep! It’s the mis-steps that get you!
