Yawning Gap

Well of Lecht, Grampians, Scotland

The old Lecht Lead Mill spotlighted by the afternoon Spring sunlight looks like it's only just got itself out of bed. I seem to have caught it in mid yawn nestled as it is between the comforting blanket of heather, grasses and gorse resplendent in their warm golden ochre hues.

Hi Jill

I was standing on a small mound beside the road which continues up to the Lecht ski resort in the Grampian mountains.

The isolated building is intriguing to this golden landscape. Offers interest. Were you standing on a hill as you shot this or aerial view?
