Stirling, ON

A friend told me about this den of Red Fox kits in Stirling, Ontario; about 2.25 hours south west of Beckwith Township; so I headed out at 0630 this morning.

822 shots later, I am home. I thought there were 4; but it turns out there are 6 kits. No wonder "Mom" looked a bit haggard!

This shot of one of the "Jeungen" is the first of a series that I will be posting in the coming days.

This one has been called (alternatively): "Whitefoot"; or "White Tip".

The kits are about 5 weeks old; and still have their blue eyes.
