Easter Anise Cookies

My mom, who was Polish, started the tradition of making these Italian cookies each Easter.
It's a tradition continued by my family since she died in 2005.
The inland trout fishing season in New York State starts on April 1st every year,
and I have very fond memories of having a large bag of these cookies to keep
mine and my father's energy up during the day! Happy Easter!

Great that you are keeping up the tradition.
I think you have too many cookies. You can send some to me!
