Another scene from last night.
During the weekend, the high-speed solar wind reached a speed of about 600 km per second on Sunday night.
This solar wind pulse was associated with an increased particle density and a significantly stronger magnetic field than normal.
The geomagnetic storm took several hours and reached a moderate G2 level - and I was able to witness the aurora in southern Finland.

A dangerous beauty when we know the damages solar wind could made...
The contrast between the green sky and the silver ground is beautiful ! BV.
