If a visitor wants to spend some time inside St. Peters, he is smart to arrive early in the morning
in order to avoid long lines to go through security..
We usually try to be there no later than 8:30 a.m., as after that time,
the line grows until it wraps entirely around the inside of the Colonnade.
and the wait can be quite long!
