The final one of the series of sand blasted snow images that I found so intriguing at a recent dump of snow on the red sand dunes of Achnahaird Bay in Inverpolly. Perhaps surprisingly it is worth pointing out that this isn't snow peppered sand dunes you are viewing it is actually several inches of snow sand blasted by overnight gales and blizzards in the region of Ullapool.
