Nature Recycling...

We use sugarcane mulch which we buy by the bale locally....it gives the garden a good cover against weed growth and the wild mushrooms after rain thrive in it..
Yesterday's photo was of the white ones...we eat neither. I buy and eat only farmed ones all year round

Isn't the cane mulch rather sharp and crunchy? It looks soft here.

A great image Laine, you need a lesson from the Creuse locals who forage vociferously- however I only eat shop bought fungi too.

I enjoy seeing them appear, but they are quickly gone. Like you, we cook only with farmed mushrooms.
