In the fresco on the right side of the Salon de Cinquecento, Vasari's painting shows a mystery
that is still confounding historians.
This is the words "Casa Trova",
written in Italian on a very small white flag in the far distance in the painting.
The meaning of these words is "Seek and Find", which some people interpret as a clue
to the finding of the originally planned Leonardo da Vinci painting of the Battle of Anghiari
possibly having been painted over by Vasari's fresco in the 1540's.
