The wife wanted to go for a short ride as she was going a little stir crazy.
I don't think this is exactly where she thought of going, but I was driving
and she was stuck with where I took us.
I headed out along the south end of the Great Salt Lake just because
I wanted to.
Lately I have been carrying my really old Canon 40D with the f1.4 55mm lens.
I really haven't used a prime lens as all of my other lenses are zoom lemses.
This view is to the North out into the marshes of a bird refuge to
Antelope Island and which is in the Lake. Antelope Islabd is the largest
island in the lake and has a heard of Buffalo (Bison) on it. The island
is accesssable bu automobile from the Eastern shore.
The Great Salt Lake is the largest Salt water lake in the western hemisphere
at about 1,700 square miles or 4,400 square km.
