In Kendall County, Yorkville, Illinois.
No longer used as a court house, this is a replacement building constructed in 1887,
after the original was destroyed by fire. The spire replaced a single-story domed structure
that suffered from serious leakage. In 1998, a new court house was built.
The building now serves as offices for the Kendall County Forest Preserve District.
Photographed from Bicentennial Riverfront Park, Hydraulic Street, between Mill and Heustis Streets.
