Winters snow

Francois Lake, BC

We are literally sinking in snow. This picture
of our deck was cleaned off yesterday. The line
on the right is the top of the seating bench .
We have been removing snow for four days now and have
nowhere else to pile it :(

Canon EOS 6D ,Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM

Oh my, as I sit here in 70 degree temps. Well the snow gives you some interesting photographs anyway. Love the shadows on the snow. V

I don't see a problem here. JK. Can barely see the bench. Great shot. V.

This is quite a lot of snow in one downfall, Gill. I don't envy you having to shift it all again tomorrow.V

Literally snowed under by work! Hopefully this will be a 'historical' photo and near the last of it for the year. (Perhaps a flame thrower to melt some of it - could beat shoveling!)

If you can follow Marcia's advice. You and your husband are past the age of shoveling snow.Take care.. Spring will get here and you want to see it.

To me, it looks very peaceful. Back to the basics, stay inside with great friends and food!

That is a lot of snow, Gill. We don't have quite that much but are still under a Winter Storm Warning. I hope for you and us that it is Winter's last blast for this year.

Graphic illustration of huge amount of snow! Light and texture aregreat and I actually feel COLD,although we are having an unprecedented heat wave here! The seasons will come and go and your lovely spring is waiting around the corner. Your gallery is wonderful.

Lovely, but makes me appreciate warm, sunny weather on the Gulf of Siam.

Superb contrast and snow texture made all the more effective by side-lighting. Love it!

This definitely looks like a lot of snow, too much to enjoy it...! I like the soft appearance like cotton wool and the shadows. V
