USS Omaha (LCS-12) an Independence-class littoral combat ship of the U.S. Navy at the Broadway Pier this morning.
Using 2× gas turbines, 2× diesel, 4× waterjets, retractable Azimuth thruster and 4× diesel generators as propulsion, the ship is capable of 47 knots (54 mph; 87 km/h)

Impressive looking warship. I certainly hope they are insisting on sound , ship handling training and practices for the watch officers since collision avoidance increases significantly at 47 knots! V
