Neither one likes to pose for photos. As others on Pbase have said about their pets, these furkids usually run away when they see the camera. So I must catch them when I can.

The weather outside was really too cloudy to do indoor, non flash photography today. It was very dark inside; even with the lights on. Fortunately, @ ISO 12,800, I still was able to get a few memory shots of the siblings together on their birthday.

I think this is the first time, I've been able to get a photo of them together since their mom (who also grew up here) went to the Rainbow Bridge Late Summer 2017. Dana was the glue that bound her children together. We all miss her very much. I can see her in her daughter Sari. This was Dana's only litter. Although today was a happy day, it's a bit sad that only these two are left. The entire family's bond (Dana & her 3 kids) was amazingly strong. I treasure the "kids" in the photo; just as I treasured their mom and litter sister at the Rainbow Bridge.

Each dog, to share our lives, has been a unique individual and holds a forever place in my heart.

It's hard for me to believe that Sparki and Sari are now officially senior citizens!!! I think 15 years old qualifies as a senior. It seems like it was only yesterday when they were born. I remember that day well. IMO, our furkids become more & more precious with each and every passing day. That's why photos are so important. This brother and sister are very, very much loved. Photos like this are part of memories that hold our loved ones close & make us smile: today and into the future.
