This Sedge Wren really tested our patience during a recent visit to Anahuac NWR. We could hear several of them in the grass and every now and then would see one pop out into view but only for a couple of seconds. After quite some time our efforts were rewarded with a mostly unobstructed view. It is challenges like this one that keep this activity fun.
