13th January 2018

Another archive photo I'm afraid - this time from Sheffield's Anglican Cathedral.
This is the Chapel of St George inside the north-facing part of the building.
The flags are from the York & Lancaster Regiment, which was disbanded in 1968.
The Cathedral is an interesting building and well worth a visit, but don't bother taking a tripod - they're not allowed.
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. :-)

A beautiful church and photo. Like the understated nature and with the historic flages.

Some of the best photos are archive images and there is nothing wrong with that....it looks a lovely church with masses of history too. V
