Thanks very much for your kind comments on my photo of the Harlow Carr benches. I'm pleased you
liked it. :-) I haven't had much time to get out and take photos since the weekend, so
here's an archive shot from a year ago of a beautiful song-thrush we spotted on a weekend away
on Holy Island, off the Northumberland (North East England) coast.
The song-thrush is famous in the UK for the beauty and variety of its song, hence the name.
Sadly, like so many once common garden birds, its population is in decline in the UK.
