Air France L-1011-1 Tristar, C-FTNA, Mystery Plane

Paris Orly Airport, France view map

Almost like a ghost story to me! I couldn't remember at all the details, but fortunately, the internet has really some uses! I only remembered it was a TCA Canada Tristar, on unexpected use by Air France!I don't even have a clue whatI went to Paris to do! Not 1 clue!
But cannot forget this flight, one of the scariest of my life!
When I arrived at the plane, I was surprised at the derelict look of it! Everything old, and falling to pieces!
Well, literally! As soon as we took off, before shaking like a washing machine, a huge section of the overhead ceiling lights of the central section (I was sitting, as always, on a window) felt down! The Captain imediately stopped the climb, and sent the Flight Engenieer (good they had one) to fix them! After a few minutes, he managed to put them back and reassumesd the climb. Nevertheless, not to very high: I'd guess between 20 to 25,000 ft...
Not 1 word from the Cockpit or the Cabin Crew... Anyway, the food was slightly better then usual.
Landing in Orly, the same story, boom, more lights falling on the passengers heads... This time, nobody bothered to repair anything, and everybody was happy to leave this wreck!
LIS/ORLY
I was amazed to see that this very same plane crashed near Lyon, later! http://aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=20010706-1
