About a week before Christmas people start buying the fresh spruce or fir trees, cut or sprout in the pots. It's a tradition to have them decorated just a few days before Christmas Eve.
Almost on every bigger intersection you can see the sellers of the trees as well as of the mistletoe bunches (another tradition).
