December 8, 2017

We woke up this morning to a light covering of snow. Maybe a couple inches in some places, but it is melting quickly. Our last snowfall was in December of 2008. That one stuck around a little bit and it turned out that areas to the south of us toward Corpus Christi got quite a bit more snow than we did. As I look out the window this morning I can see that the streets stayed warm enough to melt all the snowfall. Our yard thermometer says 40F, so the snow should be gone quickly. A couple school districts are delaying opening for a couple hours.

Our chuckle for the day is this photo. Ginny went out to get her Wall Street Journal and found it was covered with snow. That was pretty cool. We are both easily amused.

There were several people on TV
saying this is an example of the
Global Climate Change Catasprophe.
In fact, it happens here in Houston
every 5-8 years or so. We get a
freeze with regularity. The GCCCers
have a wonderful life being unencumbered
with facts.

That is pretty funny. We got snow, but it doesn't seem to be sticking around, either.
