It was a good day for sure. Ginny and I went to look for furniture in the morning. We still have to replace the living room furniture as a result of the flood. For me it was boring, I guess Ginny had a good time. She does a very thorough job of selecting stuff and in the end it works out well.

Then we headed out to Duluth, GA, to meet the whole family for lunch. While Ginny and the girls went shopping, Robert and I took the kids somewhere they could romp around and have some fun. Finally it was off to Robert's house for the rest of the day.

It was very relaxing. Ginny and Peyton collaborated on making a quiche, which is the subject of today's photo. Santa came a little early and brought Peyton and his dad new Texas flag cooking aprons. The quiche came out looking good and we will have it for breakfast in the morning.

Of course we played a bunch of games with Peyton. It was a great deal of fun. He wins a lot because he is very good at these games. We made it an early evening and headed back to the hotel where Ginny finished her massive Christmas present wrapping job.
