Tortum is a town and district in Erzurum province in northeastern Turkey, home to four different ethnic groups: Turkish, Hemshin (originally Armenian and Christian), Kurdish and Circassian (northwest Caucasian).
The print copy had developing fluid all over it; they weren’t so careful about things like that in Turkey in those days. I think I got rid of most of it.
