the seaplane base formerly here has long since been done away with...the last pier at this location removed two years ago, and a more natural coastal border re-established...one concession to modern times was the installment of a pair of view binoculars...they serve well for close-up views of boats in the inlet, yet getting stuck with the lower children's scope can demand some flexibility
