Tom and I saw about 300,000 motorcycles at the Lone Star Rally.
The largest motorcycle rally in the nation, now in its 16th year, the Lone Star Rally kicked off November 2nd and runs through the 5th on Galveston Island.
And with it, more than 500,000 cyclists over four days come to party!
This year’s rally will feature more than 40 free concerts, day and night, on two sound stages with acts scheduled from 12 noon on Thursday-Sunday evening.
The stages will be located at Saengerfest Park at 23rd and Strand Downtown, and at Beach Central at 21st and Seawall Blvd.
The center of activity is The Strand, where thousands of rides roar their way up the street in a thunderous parade showcasing the hottest custom paint and coolest aftermarket accessories.
