This is an ancient tombstone on our old local cemetery in Tarchomin, the Northern district of Warsaw where I live. It was renovated in 2015 and shows the history of this area when there were two big vineyards here, founded by settlers from France in 19th century, when it was still a small village.

"Here lies Joseph Labey born in Aveney (France), founder of the vineyards in Tarchomin, died on May 18th 1856 at the age of 47 years."
