Ambush bug (Phymata) in red clover

Reveler Conservation Area

There aren't many insects around these days, but the weather is still unusually warm and so some remaining bugs are hanging on, such as this ambush bug sitting in the red clover flower, hoping some passing critter might stop so he can grab them.
