Peanuts

Wallis, Texas

Wallis is a small town that is 20 minutes away from my house.
When the settlement got a post office in 1873, its name was Bovine Bend. Sometime after 1880, the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway was constructed
through the community. At that time, the town was renamed Wallis Station after J. E. Wallis, the director of the railroad.

Cool shot with these tones. I like your composition. They should have left the name Bovine Bend. "V"

Excellent capture of this old-America looking scene, added to by the warm toning. V.
