FathLRGB

The Fath cluster of galaxies is located at the center of the larger cluster, Abel 262 in Andromeda. It is estimated to be 204 million light years distant. Large elliptical galaxy, NGC 708 is at its center. It is named after Edward Arthur Fath, notable astronomer and researcher of "spiral nebulae" which he suggested were galaxies, at the Lick observatory in the early 1900's .
