Diademed Sandpiper Plover (Phegornis mitchellii) *male* Chile - Región Metropolitana - El Yeso Valley

One pair observed of the 25 pairs of these beautiful and very specialised waders breeding in the El Yeso area, fortunately a research and conservation project is trying to protect them.
