Wolf spider burrow (Geolycosa)

Deep River

This is an interesting burrow... it is made by a wolf spider, Geolycosa, and the top is decorated with vegetation. Some burrows had lichens placed around the edges, others were little turrets of sand.

Interesting, and sounds like these spiders are very artistic. V.
