There are a number of things working for this image: the orange colour acts to create a relationship between the rowers and the boat.
This also means that there are no competing colours to distract from the action. This uniformity is highlighted by the surrounding
blue/grey of the ocean. You have caught a moment of action captured in the sprays of water surging off the front of the boat. It is a
pity that you did not include the tip of the rudder. The rudder moves out of the image on the lower left. If it had not been cut off, there
would be less likelihood of the 'eye' slipping out the image at that point. Try boosting the contrast a little to add a bit more life to the
image.
