Pair of Mississippi Kites

Warrenton, Virginia

Observed two different individuals (presume these two) on 22 and 25 August flying high over the housing area across Dumfries Road (Terranova). Today, the pair landed
in a dead Black Cherry Tree (hit by lightning in 2015). They preened for nearly an hour. I got several good shots.
See 'next' two images for closer look at female and male.
