Underneath the tree was pretty amazing. It was like someone had made the tree to live in. There was plenty of room for everything, including a couple of chairs, my bike, water bottles, cooler, table, shower, stove, camping gear and lots of open space.

It almost felt air conditioned underneath the tree. It was that cool. There was also lots of wildlife that would come and go through the tree which was pretty cool as well (except for the scorpions which I wasn’t too fond of).

Ice usually doesn’t last very long in the desert heat, so I came up with the idea of digging a hole in the side of a hill underneath the tree to help keep the ice chest a little cooler. It actually worked pretty well.
