A lot of people ask about my set up for the sun photos.
Filter was an old 8 " Telescope Solar filter from Thousand Oaks Optical. It's a type 2 made specifically for solar photography. I used some large rubber bands to attach the filter to my Canon 500 mm lens mounted on my Canon 7D-MK2. All of that mounted on a heavy duty wildlife tripod and ball mount.
