I first heard it in the laundry room where my computer is. I could not figure out where the sound was coming from. Could it be a hard drive or fan? Every time I stamped my foot it would stop. On and off all day I heard it, and was in an adjoining room when I thought it was coming from my pantry closet. I opened the doors and the sound was behind me. I moved towards the noise and noticed the slightest movement at the bottom of a lamp on my counter! Ahah...now I know what a red-headed bush cricket sounds like. Amazing that something so tiny (that's a teaspoon on the left) could be so loud AND annoying!
