at George H. Crosby Manitou State Park, Minnesota. A north-country wilderness park near Finland at the north shore of Lake Superior. This is a more remote park with few people visiting. A rugged trail along the Manitou river through a forest of fir, cedar, spruce and northern hardwoods takes you to the Cascades.
