Lucca is a lovely town in central Italy. It's one of those towns that everyone would fall in love with at first sight/visit. The town is surrounded by a wall and it's wide enough if you want to explore the town by bicycle. The central piazza has an oval shape and it's really impressive. It's definitely worth a visit. However, it's surrounded by other impressive cities, such as Florence, Pisa and Siena so it's a tough choice if you have limited time...
