'Spectacular' exhibit, the 'Anna' tiara

An antique diamond floral tiara dating to the 1830s that was inherited by Princess Anna Monika Pia of Saxony, who married Archduke Joseph Franz of Austria in 1926. Post’s husband purchased it for her from a Budapest jeweler, and she subsequently named the tiara “Anna.”

One of the main reasons we visited Hillwood was to see this exhibit titled “Spectacular Gems and Jewelry from the Merriweather Post Collection.”
